Accessibility
F4 aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This page states what has been tested and what is known not to work.
What the site does
- Every page has a skip link, landmarks and a logical heading order.
- All controls work with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- The mobile navigation drawer traps focus while open, closes with Escape and returns focus to the button that opened it.
- Animations respect the reduced motion setting. The signal trace on the homepage and project pages has a text equivalent and is not needed to use the site.
- Colors are chosen for at least 4.5:1 contrast for text in both light and dark themes.
- Status is never shown by color alone.
How it was tested
Automated checks with axe-core run in the end-to-end test suite on the main pages in both themes and at mobile and desktop widths. Keyboard navigation was tested by hand. Screen reader testing with NVDA and VoiceOver has not been completed yet; this page will say so until it has.
Reporting a problem
If something does not work for you, open an issue on GitHub describing the page and what happened. I treat accessibility problems as bugs.
